Our department is involved with several solar projects that provide energy at our offices, buildings, shelters, and parks. This webpage is a graphic display of energy production at two locations, other locations will be added as we have additional information. Visit our Solar Projects webpage for a full list of our solar projects.
The graphs below display the amount of energy being generated in megawatts (Mw) on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. To put these numbers in perspective, one megawatt provides enough energy to power 800 average American homes for a year or travel 25 million miles with an electric car.
