Each year the Dane County Lakes and Watershed Commission prepares water-related budget recommendations for consideration by the Dane County Executive and the County Board. The Commission is seeking your ideas and suggestions on plans, programs and projects you think Dane County should consider in its 2023 budget to improve the quality and the scenic, economic and environmental value of our lakes, streams and drinking water. The Commission can then consider these suggestions as it develops its recommendations for budget initiatives to improve the health of Dane County waters.
Later in the summer the Commission will hold a public hearing on its draft budget 2023 recommendations (tentatively August 3rd).
