The Dane County Park Commission has the responsibility to set the fee structure for services provided in the County Parks. Each year fees are evaluated and adjusted to help offset operational costs. Parks Director Darren Marsh stated that the proposed 2015 fee changes include some adjustments of fees and policies related to administration of the fees. The proposed fee increases include adjustments for the Lussier Family Heritage Center with a new weekend package, shelters, camping, aeromodeling, Tenney Lock and violation notices. There are several fees such as youth group reservation and group camps that are being adjusted to help create a more user-friendly reservation process and reduce administration costs.
