Submit an Event

Use this form to request that your event be added to the Dane County Land & Water Resources Department and Dane County Parks websites calendars. Please allow up to 5 business days for staff to approve your event. Events that do not comply with the requirements below will not be posted.

Types of events:

• A public event in the Dane County Park System, such as a volunteer event, walk/run, bike event, music event, fishing tournament, etc. These must have an approved Special Event Permit before being submitted to this calendar.
• An educational event related to Dane County’s land or water resources

Required information:

• Teaser: text should be a brief synopsis of the event.
• Description: text should include a description of the event that is enticing to the public and includes all relevant information someone would need in order to sign up or attend – Example: hosting organization, cost, RSVP requirements, age, parking info, dogs allowed, supplies to bring, etc.
• Event website: where they can learn more and sign up
• Review your text for spelling and content before submitting.
