CamRock Beer Cellar Celebration

This open house style event will be located at the beer cellar entrance, along the CamRock trail. Stop by anytime during the event to enjoy some "stone soup" (a soup made from the collective contributions of a number of volunteers) and beverages. Volunteer, Richard Moen, who spent several years restoring the cave will be on site to chat and answer any questions. Robin Shepard, author of A Keg of Their Best, will speak at the event. A Keg of Their Best is a Wisconsin Historical Society publication about the history of the Madison area's brewing legacy and includes a section on the CamRock Beer Cave history. To get to the cellar, park at Shelter #3 or at the Historic Rockdale Mill Site and follow the CamRock Trail to the beer cave.
