Kids on the Prairie

Explore nature’s beauty and surprises! Kids on the Prairie (KOTP) is for children and their adult family members. Experienced volunteer educators and guides will facilitate a short hike to learn about nature and explore the grounds and trails. This free event is open to members of Holy Wisdom communities and the general public. We offer our Kids on the Prairie programs monthly, April-November. Registration for our October program is now open. Once the October program is over, the November registration will open. Please register so we know how many people to prepare for. •October 11 – The Gift of Trees. Trees are alive all year round. Explore woodlands and savanna. Find out how trees shelter all kinds of critters from winter cold and snow. Listen to the forest. Where to some butterflies, bees, and toads spend the winter? How are all these trees connected to each other? Time & Location Sunday, 10:30 am-12:00 pm Holy Wisdom Monastery 4200 County Road M, Middleton Meet at the kiosk in the monastery building parking lot.
