Women's* Seed Collection at Holy Wisdom

We're partnering with the land restoration team at Holy Wisdom Monastery to host a Women and Gender Minorities Restoration Workday! 

This workday is focused on creating a safe space for women, folks who are non-binary/transgender, and other gender minorities* to learn about habitat restoration and make connections together. We will spend the morning collecting seeds in on this beautiful site. Seeds are collected to plant and enhance lands in other natural areas for pollinators, wildlife, and land restoration. Join us for what will be a unique and rewarding experience. No prior experience is needed. All tools and training will be provided. Children under 16 are welcome if chaperoned. Groups (students or other) need to contact staff directly to register and talk over logistics.

The Women and Gender Minorities workdays are made possible in part by funding from the Foundation for Dane County Parks and A Fund For Women!
