Stargazing Event at Donald County Park

Join the Friends of Donald Park and Madison Area Astronomical Society at Donald County Park Saturday, August 15th at 8:00 p.m. We will gather at Pop’s Knoll picnic area for a close-up look at the fabulous night sky. Bring your family and friends and learn about the wonders of the planets and stars. Telescopes will be provided. Bring your own telescope (if you have one) or binoculars, chair or blanket, insect repellent, flashlight, and refreshments. Volunteers from the Madison Astronomical Society will be giving a brief presentation before the event begins.
