Pedals & Pixels Showcase Gallery Event

Pedals and Pixels is a summer creative workshop for middle school girls, a collaboration between Bikes For Kids WI and Black Girl Magic. Each girl will receive a bicycle and a journal in May. The program will conclude with a Showcase Gallery event at MYArts where their creative works will be displayed for the public to enjoy. Join us in celebrating the voices, stories, and perspectives of middle school girls who spent the summer biking, writing, and photographing their world. Together, they captured the freedom and opportunity that bikes bring, especially for those facing transportation barriers.

This event is free and open to all, thanks to grant funding from Dane Arts, Madison Rotary Foundation, and Wisconsin Humanities. Refreshments will be available.
