Event Description
Join us for a hands-on cooking adventure where you'll gain skills for outdoor cooking! In this class, we’ll teach you how to create a meal over a campfire and camp stove, using simple, yet effective techniques. Staff will review basic camping cooking equipment, build a campfire suitable for cooking, discuss safety around campfire cooking, and instruct how to cook a meal using 3 different methods!
Menu
- Bean Salad using easy to camp transport/store ingredients
- Vegetarian Chili using a Dutch oven
- Desserts using foil packets
This class is for beginner campsite chefs and designed to introduce you to campsite cooking skills. During the class you will prepared and eat the menu listed above. Get ready to turn your campsite into the best outdoor kitchen around!
Cost: $30 per person
Age: 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required.
