Capital City Trail Reopen

Dane County Parks Director Darren Marsh has announced that the portion of the Capital City Trail that had been temporarily closed to replace a  waterway culvert adjacent to Longford Terrace in the City of Fitchburg has been reopened. The culvert replacement project has been successfully completed.

 

“We appreciate trail users patience while we completed this important project,” said Dane County Parks Director Darren Marsh.  “The new, larger culverts will be a huge improvement and should eliminate future closures due to flooding and washouts at this location.”
