Who: Dane County Lakes and Watershed Commission, county agencies, municipal and private partners, area residents
What: A guided canoe and kayak trip through the Madison lakes featuring presentations on the environmental, cultural and historical treasures of the Yahara waterways, and tips on how to preserve these resources. $20 registration fee applies to one segment or all four and includes shuttle service, Saturday lunch and camping.

7:30 p.m. Arrive at Mendota County Park on Lake Mendota
8:30 p.m. Campfire program featuring guest speaker

10:00 a.m. Depart from Tenney Park Boat Landing on Lake Mendota
1:00 p.m. Lunch program at Bernie's Beach on Monona Bay of Lake Monona
5:00 p.m. Arrive at Lake Farm Park Shelter #2 on Lake Waubesa
7:00 p.m. Campfire program with Robert Birmingham, author of "Spirits of Earth: The Effigy Mound Landscape of Madison and the Four Lakes"
