Event Description
Enjoy the outdoors, learn about the natural world, and forge new friendships by joining the Friends of Donald Park on a restoration workday. This summer, we'll tackle invasive weeds in various areas of this large and beautiful park. We work as a team and no experience is necessary.
What to wear: Long-sleeved shirt, long pants, sturdy shoes
What to bring: Please bring water and garden gloves if you have them. (We have some to lend out.) We will also provide tools and cookies.
Meeting Location: To be determined depending on the day's task. The work party leader will give you the location after you RSVP.
RSVP to the work party leader, Liz McBride, at elizabeth-mcbride@sbcglobal.net by the Friday before the workday so she can give you meeting location and reach you if weather forces to cancel.
