Event Description
We will spend lovely spring days tackling garlic mustard, a persistent invasive plant that crowds out our native species. We work together, and no experience is necessary. Since we pull garlic mustard by hand and do not use herbicide, the work is family friendly. If you can join us, please RSVP to the work-party leader, Liz McBride at, elizabeth-mcbride@sbcglobal.net by the Friday before the workday so she can confirm the meeting location and contact you if weather forces us to cancel. Meeting Location: To be determined based on conditions before each workday. RSVP to the work party leader who will stay in touch. What to wear: Long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed-toe shoes. What to bring: Water. Also garden gloves and your favorite weeding tool if you have one. (We have both to lend out.) We will bring cookies for break time.
